Software I use, gadgets I love, and other things I recommend.
I get asked a lot about the things I use to build software, stay productive, or buy to fool myself into thinking I’m being productive when I’m really just procrastinating. Here’s a big list of all of my favorite stuff.
Workstation
14” MacBook Pro, M1 Pro, 16GB RAM (2021)
I was using an Intel-based 16” MacBook Pro prior to this and the difference is night and day. I’ve never heard the fans turn on a single time, even under the incredibly heavy loads I put it through with my daily coding.
Apple Keyboard (on the go with 2nd screen)
Easy to carry around, easy to use, the keys are just the right and it works well with my Mac setup.
Mechanical Keyboard from RedDragon
If stuff gets more serious and I am gaming or at home then I am using this keyboard. It is a bit louder but it is a lot more fun to use.

Do I have to add any additional infos here? In my opinion the way to go these days.
Postman
Postman is a API platform for building and using APIs. It is a super powerful tool for testing and developing APIs and I use it regulary.
oh-my-zsh for Terminal
I am using oh-my-zsh for my terminal. It is a great tool to customize your terminal and it is super easy to use. Makes working with the daily terminal a lot more fun.
Design
Figma
I am using Figma for all my design needs. It is a great tool for designing and prototyping. I am using it for nearly all my projects.
Productivity
Pen and paper
Oldschool but, I am using pen and paper for nearly everything. I am writing down my ideas, my tasks, my goals and so on. It is a great way to get things done and to stay focused.
Calendar
From time to time I am using a calendar to plan my day. I am using it for my work and for my private life. It is a great way to stay organized and to get things done.
